Chief Representative C-Shipping is a Danish NVOCC specialized in multimodal container transport with particular focus on European door-to-door services. We provide a high level of personal service offering a broad range of equipment types to support almost all commodity types. Our unique approach to shipping makes us an attractive business partner and we are rapidly expanding. In order to meet the growing demand we are establishing a representative office in Shanghai and we are looking for a Chief Representative to manage and expand our client base on the Chinese market. In the role of Chief Representative you will be supported by a team of dedicated Shipping Assistants allowing you to focus your attention on business development. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Danish head quarter and offices in Germany and Russia in expanding the company’s global outreach. Your daily tasks will involve the general management of the office with responsibility for the overall shipping operations from China. We would consider it an advantage if you have previous managing experience and the ability to motivate and guide your colleagues in their daily work. Our China – Europe service is rapidly developing with special attention to Russia but also Baltic States and the Nordic markets. We would therefore see it as a distinct advantage that you already have experience in these markets. C-Shipping covers all Chinese main ports with weekly service to Europe and we are experiencing increasing demands. You have a strong and proven track record in business development from previous work experience and you easily identify and follow up on new opportunities. Manage, support and attend all day-to-day activities within the C-Shipping team in Shanghai and ensure you maximize our team resources in the most efficient way in an attempt to meet company objectives operationally and commercially. Actively support the build-up of C-Shipping’s presence in Russian Far East – regardless whether cargo control is in Russia or China. Main focus on flows from China to Russia. Be the driver to develop new business opportunities in China by actively selling C-Shipping current and future services in the Chinese market. This will include activities from Chinese hinterland or direct rail services between Russia and China. Provide C-Shipping management with regular market development information and discuss same to explore further opportunities. Develop relations with all key vendors (truck and rail providers, terminal and depot operators) at senior level |
